Prioritise information
A move that reveals a face-down card or frees a low card is usually worth more than a move that merely makes the tableau look tidy.
Treat empty spaces as tools
An empty column or free cell is working space. Fill it only when you know how the move helps and how the cards can leave again.
Look one move beyond
Before moving a run, inspect the card that will be exposed and the linking card you may be giving up.
Keep in mind
- Reveal hidden cards early.
- Keep working space available.
- Do not send every possible card to a foundation.
- Use undo to compare lines.
